1Solutions for softened water or softened and dealkalized water

(1Sodium ion exchange softening method

 Pre-treatment→Sodium-type strongly acidic cation exchange→Thermal deaeration

Advantage: Ensures the residual hardness of water0.03mmo1/LHowever, it cannot reduce the alkalinity of water and can be used as feed water for low-pressure boilers.

(2Sodium ion exchange softening and dealkalization method

     Pre-treatment→Hydrogen-type cation exchange→Sodium-type strongly acidic cation exchange→Thermal deaeration

Advantages: It can both reduce the hardness of water and lower its alkalinity.

2Water treatment plan for demineralized water

(1Composite ion exchange desalination

     Pre-treatment→Strong acid cation exchanger→Carbon dioxide remover→Sodium-type strongly acidic cation exchange→Thermal deaeration

     Generally, the conductivity of the effluent can be less than10μs/cmIt is generally used as make-up water for medium and low pressure boilers.

Advantages: Low one-time investment cost. Disadvantages: During operation, a large amount of acid and alkali regenerant is consumed, resulting in increased costs, and it is prone to cause environmental pollution.
